Band Boosters

The Riverside Poly Band Boosters is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose purpose is to support the Riverside Poly Marching Band, Color Guard, Percussion, Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Winds, Concert Band and Jazz Band programs. This support includes coordinating events with the Band Director, providing the necessary music, instruments, equipment, transportation and staffing to create amazing performance experiences, and funding all these items through family contributions and other fundraising efforts. 

All parents or legal guardians of students enrolled in the RP Band are considered members of the Band Boosters (by choice). Welcome to the family!

Below are examples of the type of support our Band Boosters provide.

• Fitting, ironing &  minor altering of uniforms
• Chaperone bus trips to and from performances
• Transport equipment, props, & instruments to and from performances
• Build props for field shows
• Help with performances ie; football games, competitions
• Work fundraisers, help students raise funds to support their passion

To be competitive with today's marching bands, additional funds are a priority- above and beyond the basics our school district provides.  Marching bands have pit crews, color guard (more than a flag twirler), sound systems and props.  All of this requires additional instruction and funds.  We invite you to follow the below link to see what a competitive marching band looks like:
