General Meeting Rescheduled to Next Week

RCC Band Announces “London Night” Wed, October 7 at 7:00pm!
If there is a special pageantry event some where in the world, chances are that the RCC ”Marching Tigers”Band has been invited to it or performed in it already – and this year is no exception! These busy college entertainers have been invited to be the ‘grand finale’ of the gala 25th anniversary New Year’s Day Parade in London in 2011! Come out to the college on Wednesday night, October 7 and ‘hear all about it!’
This special informational meeting is open to anyone and everyone who is interested in traveling with the RCC “All Star” Band, including former members, future members – their families and friends. About the only ones not invited are the current band members, the 2009 edition, since they will be having band rehearsal at this time. BUT… any family member, parent or friend of the current band IS invited to attend to represent them!
WHO CAN ATTEND: current high school band musicians and flags, regardless of age, RCC Alumni,future members of RCC, family members, friends, parents, relatives, boosters – it’s gonna’ be great!
This is going to be another feather in the already bulging cap of this amazing group, having already appeared in this prestigious event in 2000 and 2005. “Yes, we had originally talked about going to Australia,” said RCC Director Gary Locke, ”but it’s very expensive and the ‘massed band’ project is one not to be missed! “The reference there is to the plan to combine 7 or 8 of the USA high school bands with the RCC ”All Star”Band, for a final, final performance for the 25th anniversary event. This will be one of the largest marching bands ever to perform in Europe and it will all be covered on TV by the BBC!
WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 7 at 7:00pm – Everyone is welcome!
