Remember to take your instrument with you after school!
You need to provide your own transportation. Also, you will need to park in LOT E in order to avoid getting a parking ticket. LOT E is the lower parking lot, where the busses parked for the Big Orange Classic.
3:15 pm – Call Time
Meet in the foyer of Landis Auditorium at RCC.
Wear your Tuxes and Formals.
Get your instruments out, and leave your case in the foyer.
4:00 pm – Warm-up
4:30 pm – PERFORMANCE
5:00 pm – Clinic
You will be dismissed right after clinic. Please remember to bring your instrument to school on Wednesday.

A Message Anne From Hendrickson
Post Date: Tuesday, February 2nd, 2010Hi Swingites, and Poly band and color guard families–
Two weeks to go until our big Valentine’s swing dance — I’m excited, and I hope you are, too!
Students — please don’t wait until the last minute to sell you tickets! (Remember this is a fund raiser for the ENTIRE band and color guard program).
Ask your teachers (even though they are probably sick of kids selling things, but they might actually like this!) community members, etc.
Our music is going to be fantastic but we need a big audience to appreciate it!
My goal is at least 200 paying members. Do your best — I know you can do this!
There will be a parent meeting during our rehearsal again. Meet us at 6:30 p.m. at the room next to the band room at Central Middle School. Parents will be putting together decorations. Also, the problem of the week to solve is that we are not allowed to tape anything to the walls. I saw something fashioned out of PVC (square base, t-shaped arm at the top) that we could fashion ourselves to put around the room and hang things on, but someone else may have a better idea.

Winter Concert Photos

Post Date: Monday, December 14th, 2009Just a reminder that the winter concert is 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 17 at Poly. Cost is $5 per person or $15 per family.
On a related note, we are still accepting orders for the truffles and muffins. Cost is $20 for a dozen or $10 for six. You can mix and match a variety of flavors including chocolate, chocolate Oreo, white chocolate Oreo, mint Oreo, red velvet, lemon lime, apple pie, eggnog, peanut butter and carrot cake. There are also lemon muffins $16 for a ½ dozen or for $3.50 each. Parent Monica Viramontes is donating all proceeds to the band and color guard. Place your orders at mviramontes@charter.net
Beth Campbell is collecting silent auction basket donations today (Dec. 14) at 2:30 p.m. at the school. Each section was assigned a theme. Students are being asked to donate items for their theme basket. Beth also needs volunteers to help assemble the baskets tomorrow evening. To volunteer, contact Beth at crazylvn@att.net

Post Date: Wednesday, June 17th, 2009Welcome to the new Riverside Poly Proud Heritage Band & Color Guard website. With the new 2009-2010 season upon us we hope you will visit this site often and use it to keep current on band information.
Our goal is for the site to assist you in finding the information you need including booster names, student & band leader names, fundraising info, FAQs and schedule info. Throughout the year we will post videos, photos from the new Poly Band flickr account, and more.
