Disneyland Community Arts Showcase Itinerary

Below is the itinerary for this Friday at Disneyland. Please read it carefully.

Date: Friday January 8, 2010

Location: Disneyland

7:15 am - Call Time

Bring your black band T-shirt, black socks, and Dinkles in a plastic bag! Remember to put your name on it! Load Everything you need for the parade performance on the equipment trailer.

8:00 am – Load Buses

8:15 am – Depart for Disneyland

8:45 am – Arrive at the Disneyland Mickey & Friends parking structure. Take ALL of our belongings off the bus, as they WILL NOT be staying with us. We will take the tram over to the park.

9:00 am – Disneyland opens. We will proceed as a group to the Toon Town gate. You will be dismissed from there. You will need to bring enough money for lunch, dinner, snacks and souvenirs. DO NOT LEAVE THE PARK for any reason. If an emergency should arise, and you cannot find a chaperone, go to a first-aid station or contact any Disneyland cast member and they will get in touch with me.

3:55 pm – Equipment trailer arrives at the vehicle inspection area.

4:30 pm – Meet at the Toon Town Gate. DO NOT BE LATE FOR ANY REASON!!!!  Bring all of your belongings with you.  DO NOT LEAVE ITEMS IN LOCKERS.  Our guide will meet us there and escort us to the dressing rooms in the back lot.  Please listen carefully and follow instructions the FIRST time.  Remember:  YOU MAY NOT TAKE ANY PICTURES WHILE WE ARE IN THE BACK LOT.

4:50 pm – Arrive at the dressing area.  Get Dressed, get your instrument.  We will be able to do a full-ensemble warm-up in this area.

5:45 pm – Depart for staging area.  (Town Square Gate).

6:00 pm – Arrive at the staging area.

6:10 pm – PARADE BEGINS!!!!  We will march from the Town Square Gate near the entrance to the park and will exit the park at the Small World Gate.  We will immediately return to the dressing area, change out of uniforms, and load equipment.

8:00 pm – Load buses, Depart for Riverside.

8:45 pm – Arrive at Poly High School.

Ramona Field Show Tournament Itinerary

Location: Ramona High School

3:00 pm - Call Time

Eat lunch BEFORE you arrive. Report to the field for rehearsal. Wear your black band T-shirt, black socks, and Dinkles!

5:15 pm -

Return to the band room, Load equipment. The Boosters will have food for you. You may bring a sack lunch and eat at this time. DO NOT leave campus, and DO NOT eat in uniform.

5:45 pm – Get Dressed

6:15 pm – Load Buses

6:30 pm – Depart for Ramona H.S.

6:45 pm – Arrive at Ramona H.S.

7:00 pm – Warm-up

9:00 pm – Pre-Stage

9:15 pm – PERFORMANCE!!!!!

9:30 pm – Enter the stands to watch Rancho Buena Vista H.S.

10:00 pm - Awards

10:30 pm – Load buses, Depart for Poly

11:00 pm – Arrive at Poly, Unload Equipment

In honor of the 20th Anniversary of the Artistry in Motion Field Tournament the Etiwanda High School Marching Eagle Regiment is sponsoring a fan appreciation award at this weekends Artistry In Motion Field Show.

Show support for your Poly by attending the AIM Field Tournament and dropping your admission ticket stub in your school’s bucket. The band with the highest number of attendees per student performer will win a $100 gift card to a local music store.

One gift card will be presented during each awards ceremony!

Support your students and join us for a day of great entertainment!
