Remember to bring your recyclable cans and plastic to school before band practice on Thursdays. Look for the red truck. We will turn this in and contribute it to the band and color guard fund.

Post Date: September 8th, 2010We have a couple of things going on this week with the band and color guard.
There will be a booster meeting at 6 p.m. this Thursday, Sept. 9 in the Little Theater at Poly High School. Come in after you drop off your student and find out more about our program and how to get involved. We need your help!
The Applebee’s pancake breakfast will be held 8 to 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 11 at Applebee’s in downtown Riverside.
Tickets are $10 per person and are available for sale from our students or at the booster meeting this Thursday. Download the order form here. Cash and checks are accepted.
We need the following:
- 16-18 students to be at Applebee’s from 7 to 11 a.m to act as greeters, bussers and servers. They must be at least 16 years old and wear closed-toe shoes.
- A couple parents to oversee the kids and the event.
Money should be turned in on the evening of Thursday, Sept. 9 so students can deliver their tickets in advance.

Applebee’s Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser

Coming up on Saturday, September 11, from 8 a.m. until 10 a.m, Applebee’s in downtown Riverside will be hosting our Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser. Breakfast will be served by our students, and all band members will be asked to sell tickets, and volunteer!
Tickets are $10 per person, and are available for sale from our students or at booster night Thursday, September 9 at Poly High School. Cash and checks are accepted.
We need the following:

We have 250 printed tickets at $10 each, and we keep $5 per ticket! While we can sell a few tickets at the door, hopefully we sell out before the event.
Order forms will be given to all the kids this week. As they sell tickets they fill out each purchaser on the order form, similar to the Cherrydale fundraiser. They will then turn the money in on the evening of Thursday, September 9th and receive the their tickets. Those tickets can then be delivered to the clients. That same evening we will have tickets available during the booster meeting.
